Deltaquad's puzzle on page one looks like it has an alternate solution.  It looks like Nd2 should work.  I'll show it in this diagram.

It actually seems that there are several squares that the f3 knight can go to and still result in a mate in two.

jake, Nd2 will be answered by f5. And no mate in two.

    I don't think f5 works because of Qxe4.

If Qxe4 then the pawn at f5 will take the Queen. (f5xQe4)

Nice puzzle, first attempt for me. I've seen the 4 mat first, i think he is easier to see.

Hey ass, thanks for ruining it for everyone, prick.

It only ruins it if you ar foolish enough to read the comments before solving the puzzle.  But then, a fool surfaces by showing off his bad net etiquette.

Sorry jaechungrox but your 'alternative' solution doesn't work because of black's blocking response:

    1.Qh2  Bg3

Then if the queen takes the bishop, black's knight takes the queen !

    False.

    1. Qh2 Kg4 Ne5#.

    Much easier and much safer.

There is no point in trying to take risks just to seem bold.

Does Not Work due to blocking bishop !    -  Please see my post #203 above.
