    This is a fantastic puzzle.

    I find that many members repeat questions on the puzzle that already stands answered by other members before they repost the question - if all members who wish to post a question goes through earlier postings of the current puzzle, it would make the forum neat and comprehensive.

    An incredibly stupid puzzle, as first the starting position is impossible, the king has placed himself in check, there is no other way to be checked by a 2nd row pawn, and secondly promotion to a queen would bring easy check in 3 moves. The promo to a knight is foolhardy.
