Nothing easy about this one if you are trying to solve this on your laptop laying in the middle of a train track and the ground is shaking and the train is only a few yards away from sending you into eternity and you, not knowing where you are going.And just as you are about to move the rook you...........................................................
A very subtle puzzle with lots of interesting variations to explore...
It took me 24 tries; the key is that the king is out of action. The theme of having a rook on an open file is obviously the lesson here.
Finally I solve a puzzle first go!!! haha
