    I looked at that too, but you must remember that the black rook can always come down to c2 and put the white king in check, which ruins a mate in 2.

    I have seen some interesting suggestions as first and second moves in order to force checkmate in two.  This diagram shows why the line given in the puzzle is the correct one.

    people who post the answer on page 1 should have post right revoked, every puzzle people spoil it, and that shit sucks for people whos comps dont load fast because they see responses before the puzzle loads/takes up the screen. fuckin bs.
