    Nice brain stretch.  Not an immediate sack of the major piece like typical, and makes you calculate a double-knight containment / mating pattern.  Love it.

    That's because it's a bad move ?  It gives black an escape square on g7 & so therefore isn't mate !


    Good puzzle but not difficult when each move must check the black king. Mates using knights are always a little more stylish & I loved that four-knight formation at the end.
