good thinking puzzle....

It may be that the pawn promotes if queen take bishop, but at least you are still in it, e8 is suicide- at least by taking the bishop you stand a chance of a human error- even grand masters make those sometimes

why black queen dont take the bishop? there is some mistake with todays puzzle or what?

I guess the puzzle gave an inferior defense for black because this came from a game, and that is what was played.

Black moved the queen to e8 to stop the promotion, but there was checkmate...

I agree why would Black maneuver  2...Qe8? when 2...Qxf6 keeps queen on board and transfers into almost equal positional quality. I don't think White's gain in tempo with discoverd check 3.e7 would help White convert pawn into queen, but White would be up a bishop and queen v. Queen and pawns.

 To become good with these puzzles and improve your game, you should try to do this all the time, as far as possible. 

If the bishop is taken then the pawn will advance... the king would be check... If you continue it more the white would have a queen and the black would be in a very bad position
