Black King to f8, let the white bishop take the B-Queen.
Play for the draw.

1. Qxf6 gxf6 2. Bxf6 Kf8 3. Bxe7+ Kxe7

If white try's to hang on to e6 then black could win.

Admittedly in a blitz game I would miss this.

i dont understand why black would move their queen to e8...

Me neither - the black queen could take the white bishop. also the move below shows Bxf6 but the move is to e8. Could someone please explain?

If black doesn't play Qe8 or Qxf6, then black loses its queen and all hopes of winning the game. We saw what happens for Qe8

If Qxf6, then play continues with 3. e7+ (discovered check)  Qf7 4. e8=Q+ Kg7 (black's queen is pinned by white's bishop) and now white takes black's queen and ends the game.
