Reminds me of this other not-so-simple mate in 4...No one else noticed?
Q vs. B is much easier than Q vs. N
Nice puzzle, not to hard.
easy but nice review and HELLO to Salicrup......hope all is well
Happy!!!
I would like to comment on all three games submitted in this thread,
First of all, isn't it possible to get a
?
(on second thoughts, nevermind, there is one way black can get out of this)
then the puzzle submitted by simonster2000
why not 2.Rxf5? then why not 2...Qxd5? then why not 3.Rxf5? then why not 7...Qxe3? then why not 8...Qxe3?
And why, in the end does black win if we're meant to be playing white? are we meant to be playing black, coz that would explain a lot...
finally, the game submitted by simonster2000
I can accept black's mistake at 11... Nxc3 as plausible but why would white put it's queen so obviously in danger with 13. Qe5 ? and again with 16. Qe5 ? why does black not take advantage of this?
and for the record, none of this is malicious criticism, it's just a confused person putting her thoughts into writing.
