Why wouldn't White maneuver after Black maneuvered 1...Ra5 2.Rxa5 Bxc3 then 3.Nxc3 winning a Rook and Bishop all for the cost of a pawn? I think better for Black in this position would be threatening with 1...f3 to continue to put pressure on g2- and h2-squares. What do you see?

This puzzle is from a recent Magnus Carlsen game. Carlsen missed the mating combination and draw the game. Ivanchuk was his opponent here, if my memory still serves me well.

if 2. Rxa5, then black checkmates with Nc2
