If the Queen takes the knight,then Rf6 is devastating. The Queen either has to move away from the defense of f3, which allows the powerful Qf3+!, or be captured.

I believe White can't take the Knight with the Queen probably because Rf6 will place very heavy pressure on the White Queen and open for a batshit of checks if White isn't careful.

If queen takes knight, then Rf6 and white queen cannot prevent black queen to go to f3
