situation isnt real. could never happen in a real game
thats it? =o
It can happen
I don't understand how it could have reached that position without first being a draw.
what else would you do? very easy
Tough 'luck[?]'! ... Brilliant composition!
I think you're right.
What happens if I flunked it
Lol... This is a worthless puzzle... not because it's easy, but because it's imposible to get to this position or any position like it. The idea (i think) comes from a rook and king mate, however, if you're going to use that kind of idea for a mating puzzle, use a rook and king. rook and king is much more instructive then a position that is impossible to get to!
Relevant: Not a puzzle. Helpful: Have something with at least two moves. Nice: PLEASE stop it!
1 sec and done
It's possible, if your opponent is too stupid to resign. I've put the computer in this position many times, because it will try to draw.
beside, that's the ony move to win. That was too easy
The real question here is not why is this puzzle so easy...
But, considering the current position prior to mate...
What was Black's last move?
What was White's move leading to Black's last move?
Begging everyone's pardon, you're right. I went back to look at the previous move. So, wow, argument invalid. Maybe he promoted a pawn to a king? LOL!
