If the rook is never taken it can just keep checking the king, leading to an eventual draw!

Unbelievable, every move was right! If the 2-move puzzle is easy, it should have more moves to find out :) (feels better!)

i was talking about where at the end that the rook has to go next to the king and the last move, why not finish before that because he is going to get checkmated anyway
