should't black have traded bishops instead of taking the knight? i would have led to a two knights vs pawnless king, not enought material to mate...

Good puzzle. Very educational. Especially one of the last positions, where the bishop must capture the knight. Never knew that a mate with two knights could look like that!

Why 2......Nb3 ? Why not 2......Kb4
If someone understand it, write to me please!
Although nice combination of pieces!
Nb3 and Kb4 end up quite similar in the end, but Kb4 is probably a better defensive move, as it makes white work a bit harder for the win.

ya if they take the bishop its a draw!!!!!!these puzzles do have their drawbacks

I did it well until the 4th move, then I got a little bit lost and haven't been able to see Nb6 (2 knights vs king is usually a draw, at least 99% of the cases and that confused me).
Very nice.

Time to post what I think of the variations of this puzzle. Correct me if I'm wrong. :)
In all, fantastic daily puzzle :) Didn't get it all right the first time though.

the king should have captured that knight, at the same time attacking the other knight. makes more sense and avoids the checkmate and forcing stalemate because I believe you can't checkmate with a king and bishop or king and knight.
No! On 5. .. Kxb6 White has Nc7-d5+, saving the knight and winning the bishop. Knight and Bishop suffice for mate (as opposed to two knights)
Velid
Nice not so short puzzle. I like promotion into knight, makes it more interesting. :)

This is my analysis with stockfish. Black can escape early checkmate but white is far better :
