What's the point of this "puzzle"? No mate, no sacrifices... I guess it's just to regain material equalty?
not equality !.. winning a piece !...
Reti 1928 - White to play and win. Replay the puzzle after solving it to see some explanations.I posted this yesterday, but something was wrong with the link for the Daily Puzzle, so just few people saw it.
Actually, 1,Qe5! also does the same
Rxe5 Bxb7! and you get a rook for free!
Using the process of elimination helps me. It shows me how to look for the things that are not obvious. Some things that are not obvious are happening while you are dealing with the obvious. Experience will tell you what this means.
The game is not over!
Most tactics books give you some idea what the puzzle is about. I think it would be useful here, and in general on the tactic's puzzles, especially since there you are timed.
I don't really see the point of moving to Be1...
Be1... is a simple and winning move ...
this a way to put the bishop in a very safe place, ... in any case, white wins the Knight on c6, ...with no chance at all of counter-play for black !...
The game is not over could mean many things. What does it mean to you?

Very good typing.
took me a little while
