great:)

Got me on this one again... but I did appreciate the bishop moulinet, eliminating both rooks to mate. A kamikaze mate in 7... good puzzle.

nice puzzle

This is probably the first mate in 7 i've ever actually figured out ^^

Great puzzle. I like the ones that are more "game-like". I find them to be better training for analyzing during my own games. sadly though when there are multiple variations for a forced win I find that I don't have the patience to find the quickest one. I usually get the mate 3 moves longer than, but a win is a win.

Nice puzzle, showing a windmill tactic to mate the black king!

To all of those who belive posting "first" makes this chess community a better place, even though none of you actually are first and never will be, (check out the actual number at the right hand corner) try analyzing the puzzle for a change, scrolling through your pointless statements is rather annoying.
Pathetic:
Woo-Hooo!
6th!!!!! .... really, dear nhwestra2011, wish you all the best, math though aint your thing is it?
Anyway, Thank You incredibill for the analysis. Sacrificing the queen that early in the game normally would be out of question, unless you have really thought 7 moves ahead. Try doing that in a real game, without clicking the analysis board for working out alternative moves, that would lead to the best possible move.
I agree; truly an intricate puzzle. Not that it's impossible to "see" so many moves ahead, but I'd wager there are very few who could muster the courage to sacrifice the Queen so early in a real game. I'm certainly not among them, call me chicken.
