What's wrong with 1. Re5+?
Edit: Never mind, found it. 1... Kf4 and it's no longer mate-in-two.
mate is mate... but Re5+, Rh4+, Rh3+... queen lost.
There's another (more time consuming) possible checkmate: 1. Be7+ Kf4 2. Rh4+ Kf3 3. Bg2#
Queen is so far...
Black must have had the mentality that "Any loss is OK as long as you don't lose your queen."
