    Just was reading nunns basic chess endings and I think it is a draw but black has to get his king into the action.

    If you can't hold off three lone pawns with a king + knight, you need to think about the moves more carefully because it should be very easy.

    Your first post isn't even a win for white in the final position, but you're right that the knight can't stop the pawns by itself.
