This is a three queen end game with three possible checkmates after 61. f5
What will be the number of possible checakmates
if 60. Qb5 or Qa5 and 64. f8=Q ?
0, since Black resigns.
0, since Black resigns.
Assume that Black wants to have fun ...!
What's the point of this "study"? Seems pretty stupid to argue different ways to checkmate when you're up 3 queens already...
Just for fun ...!
This is 2QEG in which opponent refuses to resign ...
with variant possible checkmates ...!
If 38. Ka4 then Qa6#
If 38.Ka5 then Qa3#
Bad sportsmanship this game was over at move 31 just cuz ur opponent won't resign is no reason to waste ur own time with this nonsense...could u see bobby fisher doing this in world tourneys? That's why these guys are so good, they don't waste their time with this type of garbage play, what's to learn from it?
You are correct. But when we are playing against with lower ratings, games continue till the end. So we can have a lot of fuzzy chess mathematica with a few or a lot of jokes added to laugh aloud or amuse in silence.
No, this "puzzle" is pointless.
this is not mentioned as puzzle. Just a riddle.
Queens, queens, covering all squares,
Giving mate in so many different ways,
If careless, there is a possibility for stalemate.
Can you find the best possible quick checkmate?
