I take it the shocking move is the Rook's? It's not so shocking. Still you need a lot of forsight to make that move. The more I study, the more impressed I am with how many sacrifices there are. I'm always too chicken to use a sacrifice because I am not seeing far enough into the future to know I can overcome the material. I suppose a lot of players at my level probably think that way.

It works, but the text is simple, straightforward and effective.  It's best to cut any counterplay chances. 

The quickest and easy way to win, thought  the black game is already won.

Shocking is a relative term.  What might be shocking to a newer player isn't so much to more experienced players.   Leo, you have now passed from newer to more experienced, congrats and thanks for sharing.

Interesting- if you're thinking in the mindset of this being a puzzle, it's pretty easy to see.  In an actual game though, I probably wouldn't.

Nice decoy sacrifice. Basic tactic, and well applied in the situation. I do have to agree that black is winning anyway.
