I'm sort of falling into a habit of posting all my interesting pawn endgames from FICS 5+0 games here. If you're enjoying these, let me know and I'll keep doing it, and if they're boring let me know (so I can stop!). I tend to do it because I love seeing pawn endgames myself. I've decided players around my rating are capable of making mistakes in any non-trivial pawn endgame in blitz games, although I like to think I handle them better OTB. Here is the endgame; the rest of the game is there, but there's nothing special about it. Comments on the rest of the game are welcome, but they are not the main point.

I'm not convinced he should have voluntarily undoubled your q-side pawns with 43.bxc5. That said, I'm not sure what's better either.

Yeah, but after Kg3 or b5 I would just play c4, and g3 puts him in that box again. a5 lets me undouble them anyways. I'm guessing at that point the position was drawn.

He could've (and should've) played g4 on his 49th or 50th moves, with a winning endgame.

Oh yes... It's unbelievable how many things I don't see in these endgames.

That was a basic Q+K vs. K+P ending which Black should have won easily with something like this.
