Hi daddyjordan22,
I would have no problems discussing endgames with you. The thing is that you need to have a solid foundation. That is essencial. The first thing I am gonna recommend you is to grab Chris Ward's "Starting Out Rook Endgames" but in Chessbase format, so that you can play throught the position rather that reading a book.
I hope that helps.
I have a hard time studying end game material. Books are difficult for me to learn by as I get lost/bored or have trouble keeping up with what they are saying and lack sufficient explanation or examples of their principles. I'm a very visual and hands on learner, learning best by presentation and doing it. I feel that out of my many weaknesses my end game ability is sorely lacking and I'd like to work on it fairly intensely in the next few months. My request is help by either someone who can work on end game material and practice them with me or someone who can help me by teaching it to me in a more hands on, visual emphesized way. I understand teaching might need some form of compensation and we can pursue that if need be by PM. Thanks for reading.
