Black to move. White just played 10.Bf2, a seemingly strong move, asking black what his knight is doing on the rim. Black is now facing g4 next and needs to find a way to deal with this or white will be happy to castle long and initiate a kingside pawnstorm with a sigh of relief.

Hoping that the name of the protagonist won't give away too much :-)

Sounds promising but you need to back it up with some calculation. What would your response be to 11.exf5?

hmm... I was looking hard for a while at 1...f5 2.exf5 Bxf5 trying to make it work (as gxf5 would be too obvious, hence not a puzzle move :D) - but then I realized that 2...Rxf5 is much more to the point, pressuring f3 after the possible g4, so...

1...f5 2.exf5 Rxf5 3.g4 Rxf3! 4.gxh5 Qf8 and it looks good for black, dynamic and active.. but I'm not sure if 3.g4 is forced (or if the take on h5 is forced), maybe White has some normal looking move which works... I can't really say without spending more time on it :/ of course, if White doesn't play g4, black has activated his pieces and has a nice line for his rook, so I guess the goal is accomplished anyway, right? Though there is probably also nothing :wrong: with the plain 2...gxf5, though it looks less exciting

Interesting, what the_cheradine is suggesting seems convincing.
