If you're talking about TB's, 6-man should be sufficient to figure it out but it doesn't really matter because the solution is in the notation.

The problem may be impervious to silicon, but your SoCal residence leads me to suspect that you may be far from impervious to silicone.  ;)

Hmm.  I'm often the Poor Bastardette.  Perhaps I've encountered my kindred spirit.  :-P

I was going to try and deny it but it's hopeless...I'm guilty.  Where silicone is concerned, I put the 'perv' in impervious. Innocent

A Poor Bastardette who quotes Conan the Barbarian?  If you too have been rejected by e-harmony, it might be Fate....

I'm still trying to find alternate variations.  They all play out the same way; I think it's just time to accept the truth...

Where silicone is concerned, I'm guessing you put your perv somewhere else.  Depends if you get lucky, I suppose...

haha, I don't need e-harmony to tell me I'm psychologically unfit for the general population.  I'm on chess.com after all.

Fate.  Sigh.  Never thought governors on steroids would be involved, but I guess that adds to the implausibility that makes Fate so mysterious.

I'm proud to say that I got 75% - 80% of the moves correct. Still a few that I missed.

When I saw the title, I thought this was about the Miami Heat basketball team!  I would've made a group...

 we have several end game patterns ;K & Q vs K & P.

its point is white bishop keeping pawn.

so white king can easily escape checking.
