Intriguing pawn ending

This comes from another recent post (and thanks to DJHeilke for providing the proper winning procedure).

If Black can get his king to e5 (and play ... g5) it will be too blocked off to win.  There is a solution though:

This is a great puzzle. (only minor quibble, is there anything wrong with 4. Ke2?)

I went with e5 first, I think that move order works too...  but I didn't really understand the forcing nature of g5.  The g4 tempo gainer isn't so hard to find once you get there -- but I've been studying King v King opposition lately so I'm sort of primed for it.  Good endgame study!

I like this one. Pity that tool doesn't allow 2 or more different solutions, i started from e5 and was very suprised it is 'wrong'.
