nice, I think there may be another way to draw though - instead of 6. ... Kf7 could black play 6. ... Kf5 with 7. Ke7 Kxf4 8. Kf7 Kf5 9. Kg7 Ke6 10. Kxh7 Kf7 11. Kh8 Kg8

What if White played 2. Ra5 to try to exploit the weakness of h7 and f5? I looked at it for a while and it seemed like White had chances.

corum:  White wins in your line with 8 Kf6 (and the Black king is unable to approach).

I don't think White really has anything after 2 Ra5 Rf7.

I thought I saw something with 3. Ra6+ but I now think it ends in a draw.  :)

My reason for pushing the pawn to h6 earlier had been to play Re8-g8-g7...but then I realized that all he has to do is protect the rook with his king (and the @@!!** pawn ending is drawn).
