King and two knights vs. King on an otherwise empty board is drawn, provided that the defending king is not in a corner of the board. Although a mate is theoretically possible if the defending king goes to the corner, there is no way for the attacking side to force the defender to do so.

Well.......i've seen players mating my two knights......Can't we make the defending players go to the corner as like mating with a rook ??

Unfortunately not, as the knights and king can put up a wall against the defending king, they can't move the wall very easily. Thus, as long as the defender stays away from the corners of the board, the knights and king can't corral the defender.

Try it out for yourself, you'll find that the lone king always has a path away from the corner of the board no matter what the attacking side does.
