    What's the strategy for winning this endgame position?  Thanks.  (a1 is the bottom left corner.)

    Just keep everything kinda close together, block all the checks and gradually slide your pawn up the board.

    Black should be willing to exchange minor pieces (or all of them), but probably not queens only.  Nalimov by the way gives the position after 1 Bxc3 Qxc3 as a win in 64 moves (God, these things are amazing!).

    If I were White I'd exchange the minor pieces. It's almost impossible for a human to win those QP endings.

    Yeah, true enough (all those damned checks!...you'll be seeing 'em in your sleep).
