I thought I was a sure win in this game and I totally blew it

You didn't realize your h4 Rook was hanging, and proceeded to play Rg1 to trade off Rooks.

Thank you both I appreciate it.  For some reason in the back of my head I was thinking of ways to walk the opponents king to the edge to get a check mate.  I totally missed re6

Instead of 33.b8=Q you should have played 33.Ra8 and you simply queen, and win the game.

Thanks a ton guys.  I think the end game is my weekest play.  It is great to hear feedback.

It's also the most difficult part to learn. So don't get discouraged, and keep it up. Just a basic rule in endgames: don't rush! Improve your position. That move 33 of yours spoils a fantastic pawn structure. Just don't rush. Keep that structure. You have the threat of queening, and black gets cramped.

There's a saying in chess: many times the threat of doing something is stronger than doing it. This is so true.
