The most ridiculous endgames!

I've decided to post a thread having to do with the most stupid, unrealistic endgames you could possibly think up, and proper play in these endgames.

Now, how can we forget the Rybka vs. Nakamura endgame with 5 bishops? (These are not the actual moves from the game, this is just an example of a 5-bishop endgame)

This is probably not the most efficient method, but it's the way I did it here. The object of this endgame is to drive the king into the corner, and force it onto a square of the color of the bishop that you have three of, in this case the dark squares, where it can be mated easily.

Also, there's the more more methodical 2N+2B:

Again, probably not the most efficient method, but it works. The bishops are used to build a "wall" that the king cannot cross, much like in a two-bishops endgame, and the king is driven toward the edge of the board. The knights and king are used to push the opposing king back toward the edge more quickly... it is essentially an enhanced two-bishops endgame.

So, post all of your funny endgames here! I have a few more that I haven't mentioned, but I don't have the time to post them all... Have fun!

P.S.

Five Knights!

The object of this endgame is to control the center with the knights and king, and see which way the opposing king retreats. Then, target the king over on that side of the board, and trap it. One must be careful of stalemates, though!
