Two Bishops and a Magazine

In the May edition of Chess magazine, there was a puzzle in the 1800+ section based on an opposite-coloured bishop ending. I believe Smeets was the white player, but the black player eludes me. Anyway, the magazine gives the only solution as 1. h4! followed at some point by g4 to push home the win. However, I am struggling to come up with a drawing response to the simple 1. Kg6- which seems to just win the h-pawn and the game.

I would appreciate input from players of all levels as we try to find the line which draws for black following 1. Kg6:

Maybe 1...h4 and black can block the king side pawns with the bishop.
