Just a fun idea to warm you up:

 Once, a friend and I decided to play (in person) a chess game where all the pawns were knights (including the 2 knights) making 10 total.  It's a good way to hurt your brain trying to analyze all the possibilities. Give it a try

I think that the game would develope and end much more quickly with the higher ranking pieces substituted in for pawns.
