Hello,

I've found this strange ''variation'' of chess on the Internet and I am seriously thinking of buying it. Does somebody have experience with it? There's not many reviews on it yet. Probably the best I've found is : http://geekdo.com/thread/63447/user-review though doesn't say much about the gameplay itself.

The only official looking page is http://www.chessmate.com/ChessHeads_1.html where You can read ''the story'' behind but again not much about the game.

And I thought Chess 960 was going to take some getting used to ... 

I have played ChessHeads several times and own several decks.  It is fun but the cards can be unclear at times which can lead to confusion.  Personally I prefer Knightmare chess for adding cards to chess games.  It is made by Steve Jackson games and is quite fun.
