A True Story

This is a true story... 

When my son was 6 years old, I started teaching him how to play chess.  He caught on okay, but didn't seem to like it.  He would fidgit and fidgit.  Finally, he looked up at me one day and said, "Daddy, do you know why chess is such a boring game?"

Amused, I said, "No, why is chess such a boring game?"

And he uncorks, "Because the pieces move and you don't!" and with that he was out the door.

Kids say the darnest things.

i thought the game was boring at first, but it grew on me.
