I am organizing a bongcloud tournament that is open to anybody that wants to join. You may ask what a bongcloud is. The simplest answer is that a bongcloud is a game of chess in which, instead of the goal being to checkmate your opponent, the goal is to get your king to eighth rank before your opponent (if you're black, your goal is to get the king to the first rank, obviously). Additionally, checkmate is a loss for the mating side. All other rules are the same as normal chess.
Anyone may join. All they have to do is join the group "Bongcloud Society" and comment in the forum topic "Lightning Bongcloud Tournament" to join. I hope you will!
There isn't a bongcloud game option on chess.com, so we simply play a normal, unrated game with those rules and then resign by ourselves when we lose. Like I said before, the goal is to get your king to the eighth rank before your opponent, but checkmate is a loss The name bongcloud comes from the original bongcloud player on chess.com, king lenny bongcloud.

Does chess.com have a bongcloud game option? How do we play bongcloud? And isn't a bongcloud what permeated my dorm in college?
Just a tip... although it may seem tempting to get your king out early, piece development and strong blockades are much more important.
