Chess Story!

The infamous member cheater_1 once mentioned that he created the most commented upon topic on chess.com related specifically to chess - I cannot disagree with this. So, I'd like to break this record by participating in the creation of a story directly related to chess and written by the members of chess.com. Here are the instructions:

1) Contribute 3 WORDS AT A TIME. This will be a 3-word per contributor story!

2) Most posts should direct the story directly at chess. There may be a few posts (i.e. "then he decided") that do not relate directly to chess but can lead to a chess-related statement. Those are absolutely OK!

3) DO NOT post more than 3 times in a row! Allow others to post as well - this is a story created by chess.com members, not by one chess.com member.

4) Try very hard to not post a majority of the story - a contribution of a great deal of minds is wanted here!

5) If you post something other than your 3 words, make sure we know what your 3 words are! =D

6) Be creative and funny if you're able - non-chess humor is OK if shortly followed by chess-related topics.

7) HAVE FUN!!!
