white has a few Ideas, first Qd2 is an atractive option, starting to preasure the kingside, preparing to castle and readying his attack on the Kingside

second, 0-0 King safety, preparing to fight for the middle, dissagree with this option however, because it is not only fairly dull, but it keeps your attack from developing with any urgency

and I would think that g4 is something to look at considering the possibility of getting the Kingside attack started asap

Qd2 seems reasonable.

9. g4 looks fine, it might just transpose into the mainline. I don't like 10. g5 much though. It makes it a little harder to open lines against black's kingside.

I don't know, heading for a mainline isn't always best, I would like to see a break from theory here or on the next move, g4 seems like the most interesting to me, but h4 is a little more stable
