In a park people come across a man playing chess against a dog. They are astonished and say: "What a clever dog!" But the man protests: "No, no, he isn't that clever. I'm leading by three games to one!"

That's because the man was playing the Colle, and the dog didn't know that breed of opening.  The dog opened with 1.f4.  He was a Bird dog.  Earlier, the man got beaten by the Krazy Kat.

I hate to analyze jokes but...

1.Any dog who play chess is smart by any criteria.

2.Any chess player who lose vs. dog is not that smart by any criteria.

Any man who is bragging about wining in any game made by human, and win vs. animal is just silly.

I prefer the older group simply because it was much smaller and you could actually reconize people, not "oh hey, I may know that guys profile pic, that's neat".
