This puzzle will make you either laugh at the solution, or make you argue with me about it :P If nobody gets the answer in 8 posts (by different people, NO SPAM) I'll give you a hint, but it will seem obvious after I do.

I believe the answer is Kc5, but it is not mate in one.

Kc7 Ka7, Kc8 Ka8, Kd7 Ka7, c7 Ka8, c8=Q+ is a possible line.

The answer is 1. c7. It's "mate in one", not "checkmate in one" .

Well, I'd say heinzie really got it, I just put the move down. If you've got an open mind, a phrase like "mate in one" has a few different meanings. Don't feel too bad about it.

EDIT: Serbian, in case you didn't read the post, the OP said "mate in one", not "a winning line".

To those who are not so fluent with English:

White and Black are mates ei friends. They are playing a friendly game. In the position on diagram white is not forcing a win with 1.Kc5 or 1.Kc7, but shows he a mate and is satisfied with a draw after 1.c7!
