New Bongcloud Opening?

This is just one example of how White can achieve his ideal c4-g3-h4 pawn fort with the king nested at g4... beginners may blanch at the material loss sometimes involved but note how White can launch an unstoppable attack, crushing the three key black pawns after Black foolishly castles kingside.

got to rank up there with the dumbest opening of all time black plays way to slow and should punish white earlier but at move 6...exd4?? why not Bg4+ and white can hang is head in shame

I agree with Scottk74, the dumbest opening of all time! Everyone knows you don't expose the King like that & at move 5/6 only a complete beginner/novice or moron (take your pick!) would not play Bg4 capturing whites Queen & blowing the Bongcloud Opening out of the water ! Keep smoking the Weed boy and if ya can't take critiscism don't post 'Flawed' topics in the forum !!  Laughing

As a Classical player I disagree with the hypermodern theory of developing the king to the flanks. The King must dominate the center in order to have the most chances of ghetting to the otheir side man.

Yeah, me too. Step by step reading commentaries and always white is losing one of his pieces but somehow black is getting his position worse and worse. lol still laughing at this thing. Thanks to helltank! it made my day, seriously! :))))))))

This is what happens when a chess web site doesn't have a sign-up test to see if the new player knows how the horsie moves.

I'd rather they screen people for a sense of humor.

At least you got rid of your bad bishop, that almost neutralizes the slight plus black has

Your opponent missed the obviously better 10...Na5#. He needs to learn the basic fundamentals of attacking: use all of your pieces.

Against the Bongcloud I usually play the DEA Variation (3...Bc5).
