This is a fun tactic that when used usually causes the opponent to resign after becoming insanely frusterated.
I love it too. it is very dependant on a lot of factors (the castled king being locked into the two squares) I will say this it is a great way to gain material or equalize if you are behind.
In all my years of playing, only once did I manage to execute a windmill. It sure was fun, though.
I just got windmilled the other day... It wasn't fun.
I don't ever recall any either. Perhaps in blitz.
