Why Rg8+?

Rg4+ Bg5 Rxg5#

solves things quicker

Kingfisher, 2. Rg4+ f6 and there's no mate in sight. (your line, 2. Rg4+ Bg5 isn't even a legal move)

Loomis,

Rg4 opens the a1-h8 diagonal, where the  bishop on b2 hits the king on h8 via discovered check. f6 and Qxb2 do counter that (thank you, I see it now), but the move is perfectly legal.

Kingfisher, it was Bg5 that wasn't legal because it didn't block the discovered check.

Nisi u pravu Kingfisher na 2.Rg4+ crni daje mat on Qxb2#.To je apsolutno legalni potez jer nema dvostrukog saha.
