    Hey all,

So I just beat the computer on Hard, but it took me 102 moves. Quite a fortress I had to break through. I'd appreciate it if you can identify any moves of the computer which are weak, and anything I did well.

but how can you learn from your mistakes if you only want to know what your good at, work on improving your bad areas first

Well, I think that at some point the computer couldn't think of any good moves and played for a draw moving back and forth. At that point you came with an original plan and thus out-skilled the computer. A good thing also that you exchanged your queen because you don't want a 2000+ rated computer program to have such powerful weapons at hand, when you are 400 rating points lower.

I just got my first win against the hard level of computer here on chess.com.  Honestly, I never play it, but I am still happy about this win.  I chose the Bird for two reasons - computers understand less about it, and I am more comfortable with it.  I felt I had a comfortable game throughout - any comments, please do tell!

This was against the hard level?  Those moves look strange to me...

Yes the terrible opening combined with the sacs and the horrid d6??? Led to blacks demise. I also beat the com on two other occaisons, b=not as quickly, but pretty good games about 50 moves or something

The first one that was played a few months ago, the other two are more recent

I don't understand how the hard computer can blunder that easily with Qg5??

I didn't want to call anyone out on this, no need to do that.  Calling someone out doesn't solve anything.  But on hard, I see the computer playing maybe Qh3, if it was going to play into that position.

It happened and I do not like to lie. The third game is perhaps more realistic to you, but it did happen.

Puters are not perfect. Your game , once again, proves it. Thanks.

all three were 2000+ hard. the ratio is about 3 wins 10000000000 losses

I'm not going to debate it, it just looks unusual for a hard computer to make such a beginner's error as Qg5?? If it happened, it happened.

yes the strength of that computerr is somewhat debatable. I does make some blunders, but other than that it is not hald bad

I did notice that before, they had it at 2000+, now at 1700 or so.
