i playd the folowing game against some one how is way way ahed of me, it started with the modern deffens and i tride to make a hippo(i looove the hippo).
i post the game becus i need help understending what ended it for me.
all thet i cold think of doring the game is "if only i cold get my Q to the attack..."

How is that an upset?
After white plays 1. d4, black has to be very careful during the midgame. It happens to many people that soon after castling, white launches a devastating attack on the black king. I know this for two reasons. First of all, it's been done to me a couple of times. Second and most importantly, I play 1. d4 in most games and many times I succeed with attack like this.
There's really no advice to give other than be more careful and possibly study 1. d4 as white, so you can know its main attacks. This will help you to defend yourself against it.
