    There are many things to say about this game,l but the most important thing to point out is that you were winning right up to the end. 37...Qh7! 38.Qxh7 Kxh7 39.Rxf7 Kg6 40.Rd7 c5 and it looks to me as if you were winning easily. It's easy to overlook "backwards" moves like 37...Qh7

    A fun game; no use made of Opening Explorer?!: lets just play chess!  I very much doubt any Master has ever played 2. Qf3?; there is no game like that in Explorer:)

    As Pualgottlieb said,  37...Qh7! was the defence required. Not an easy win - more like equal- after 38. Rh4! forcing 38....Qxh5 39 Rxh5+ and the N falls: 40...Kg7 40 Rxb6. As Paul said, seeing backwards moves not so easy:)

    @davidmelbourne:
    My opinion is that openings explorer only should be used after a game.  Looking at the openings of master during the game is not playing chess, but repeating the chess of others. Even chess players that do not have a clue why certain moves are the best move could play this, because they see what others did.  Therefore, I do not look at openings explorer during a game at all.
    I do not know why my opponent played 2.  Qf3. Saying that it is a bad move because it is not in the openings explorer doesn't mean a thing to me. It is like saying that painting your house orange with white stripes is not a good thing because nobody else did this before.
