I want to propose something and I think this is the best place, but if isn't please tell me and I'll post it where corresponds. I think it would be great in order to make an analisys maybe by myself, but the better intention is if we want to make an analisys with a friend or some friends, maybe to teach or things like that

It's not this what i meant. Supuose i want to see with a friend a game played in live chess, that i cant get in in his games, or i want to show him somethings, and maybe then he want to show me some others. This way is hard to do it. What i said to do is like, we both open a board (that will be an analysis board) and, for example, i move first 1.e4, and he sees that i've moved that. But then, i keep moving, and i play 1...e5 and the same thing happens. Don't know if the idea got understood, but i think so

Sounds like you are describing the "observe" or "follow" features which FICS and other servers use.  This allows another person to view all the moves you are playing at the time.

You may want something more collaborative though, where both sides can jointly control the same board.

I think it's more like the "examine", "observe", and "mex" commands at FICS. FICS is a live server and in addition to starting a game against an opponent, you can open a board just to make moves on, this is called "examine". Anyone else could watch you, this is called "observe". Additionally, you can make an obsrever an examiner of the game as well, "mex", and then you can both move the pieces for either side. Of course there are also commands to go backward and forward along the game  lines.

This has been suggested a few times in the forums and from the responses we've gotten before I think the staff see this as a valuable tool, but implementing it comes down the line after perfecting the live chess features.

Yes!

I agree definetely!

I would like ivery much have an analysis board, particulalrly when reading oomments and moving lists during the puzzles. Most of times is hard follow what people mean without a board as a support.

Keep me in touch, seidel.

FICS is a different site for playing chess online.  Live chess here is the equivalent of what FICS offers.  FICS has been around much longer, though you need a separate client to play chess there.

I like the idea too, but you got to think first of the cost$$ and time to do it, I mean Chess .com is great as is, where is for now maybe in the future (hopefully not too far of.) they might put one in.What did the staff think of it?

I actually laughed out loud when I read "white to move" under the board

The "observe" feature already exists. The description of the others was somewhat nebulous, and I assume they haven't been instituted here.

I would pay a membership, but there are two problems: 1. i'm 16 years old, so i can't have a card 2.also the premium memberships are not enough tempting for me. The activity that i liked most is the chess mentor, but after 10 excercises i could do more. And the memberships doesn't give you much time in my opinion, but well, now that i think this is going out of subject. So i would like to know if the stuff intend to do this or see a way to decide it, so if anyone sees, please give an answer
