    Hello, ladies and gentlemen. I would like to present a game for your kind review and analysis. I am sure your chess skills are sufficient for understanding of the following play.     Only thing I can say this game can not be of 1300+ players. Both players playing much higher than their rating.

    I personally didnt like 8. e5. You gave up control of the center and gave the knight a good post on d5. Castling would have been better in my opinion. Im also not so sure about a3 as it seems to just waste a tempo but it may be an opening line for all I know. Usually in a QGA you want to get way ahead of your opponent in piece development.

    13 Bg5 forces f6, after exf6 his pawn structure seems pretty bad.

    after he played 14. g6 I think Ne4 would have been very powerful allowing your knight to take a supportedĀ advanced post on the 6th rank, as well as threatening Bg5 since he had just weakened his dark squares.

    I also dont see the reason for resignation after exf6. After Qxf6 Id say that black was still hanging in there.

    On the whole you played well. Good job.
