I could not find better way to permote my Passed pawn and went out to lost the Advantage i have:( but Analysis and suggestion on passed pawn would be appreciated & a Big Thanks
Your in no hurry to promote your pawn, be patient and put your pieces in the right squares, make sure there are no counter threats like a pesky back rank mate. On move 35 you can play Qf3 because his bishop is hanging, and then transfer your queen to c6, finally you can play h3 to get rid of that nasty back rank problem.
You might not find a way to promote the pawn, but because black has to spend so much resources to prevent the promotion, you can usually find other avenues of attack, like his open king position and his weak pawns.
Really your only gaffe was overlooking the mate on f1. These things happen to everybody, but it was certainly a win before that point.
37 Qf3 seems to force the pawn through. If Black tries to prevent it from queening with 37... Bd8, he runs up against 38 Be5+ Kf8 39 Qa8 Ke7 40 Bd6+, which wins.
unneseccary fear of the pin led to 9. Qd3 instead of 9. Bd5, gaining ground and preventing Black's queenside knight from opening and chasing your queen around. It's not 15 moves later until you've solidified your defense which would have ended beautifully with h2-h3 and won you the queening pawn exchange up a rook.
Agree with Timmy 62, u might have waited till ur position(mate) was safe & insted of promotion u can try to take take his pawns bcz end game really depends on as much pawn as u have, let him(opponent) to struggle with pass pawn.
What about 37. Kg1 intending to meet 37. ... Bd8 with Be5+ followed by Rf1?
Instead of 9. Qd3, I would have played Re1. Other than that probably just play a little more aggressively. It seems like you wasted moves possibly hoping for a mistake from your opponent.
