So this is a second game I played. This time it was my opponent who played the opening inaccurately, dropping a pawn as early as move 5! I had to defend against a kingside attack, which I think I did well, then managed to break out and tie down my opponent's king. However, at one crucial stage of the game, I made the wrong move. This led to a difficult endgame with a queen against two rooks. Low on time, the game went to a draw and I grabbed a perpetual. Have a look and please tell me what you think (criticisms especially):

Main lessons from this game:

-Calculate thoroughly, and assess the final position. I didn't look carefully enough at where Raf8 led, and ended up throwing away my advantage and steering myself into a difficult endgame

-Play simple chess! If I'd assessed Rg6 accurately enough, I would have seen it simply kept my advantage. Instead I went for complicated waters with low time; a dangerous combination!

Basically the main point is the Raf8 blunder I think, but comments/criticisms welcome on any part of the game.

I would have gone for 9...Bxb2 because of the chance to trap his queen in the corner.

28...Raf8 was the best move according to Fritz. Your worst mistake was not centralizing your king in the endgame.

This is a very tactical game that a computer might do better analysing, waller.

True, a computer might analyze it better.

I still don't like Bxb2. I don't think I can trap his queen there for long, and I certainly don't see a way to win it.

I appreciate that the game was lost later than Raf8; I just think it gave me too much chance to screw up, which I did. During the game I didn't centralise my king because I was seeing ghosts eg. with Ke7 for some reason I thought Rg7 would win the c pawn, but it's defended. Hey, it's a learning experience.
