There is a game from a tournament I was participating in. I played white.

I wonder are there some stronger moves for white in the opening, because after first 21 moves black was slightly better?

Nice-looking game. On moves 19-20, those connected pawns were worth a piece in that situation. Good pawn pushing and technique for promotion at the end too.

but if black played 21... Bd6 the position will be this (see a diagram below). And after 22. Qd3 Bd7 black is somewhat better. So, whites previous moves are not ideal. So where is the lost advantage??

On move 20, I would actually have suggested c5 instead of d5. The c5-move frees up your Bishop and cramps Black. Also, the black-squared Bishop would not have been able to block your pawns and you could still fork on d5.

I'm not really convinced that White had an advantage there.
