    I don't know if it is the first blunder, but I'd say move 7 for white was a blunder.  Why not 7. Bxf7 and force the black king to move, and then follow it up with 8. Bh5 to get a knight.

    • 11. Ng6+?? { pointless knight sacrifice }
    • 14. Bxg5?? { pointless bishop sacrifice }
    • 16... Bxh2+?? { pointless bishop sacrifice }
